GET A COPY OF THE PULLS’ 20TH ANNIVERSARY REISSUE OF THEIR CLASSIC ALBUM, "THE DAMNEDEST THING” ON LIMITED EDITION VINYL FOR JUST $25.00!

THIS FULL-LENGTH ALBUM HAS BEEN REMASTERED FOR THE 20TH ANNIVERSARY OF ITS ORIGINAL RELEASE, AND IS NOW AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE AS DIGITAL DOWNLOAD, OR ON EXTREMELY LIMITED EDITION VINYL!

Way back in October of 2000, The Pulls stepped into The Kaleidoscopic Junkyard studio in Lima, PA, to immortalize a collection of songs that singer/guitarist and songwriter Steve Rodgers had written since the band's inception in 1995. What would result was a 17 song, frenzied blitz of timeless high-energy pop punk glory!

From straightforward sing-alongs like "Too Broke To Drink", to the romantically frustrated, "In Love & Pissed Off", dirty surf instrumentals like "Hangover Beach", or the band's debut song, "2-Dimensional Girl"... this album has a bit of something that just about anyone can relate to, all set to an undeniably punk rock aesthetic.

If you're a fan of the melodic, devil-may-care pop punk, that makes you want to crank that shit up and sing along, then you need to pick up your copy of "The Damnedest Thing" today!  It's a 17-song, 43 minute long, high-energy rocker, and it's full of hooks that'll have you singing in someone's shower, dirtball.

This album was never previously released to digital platforms, which means you can only get it here, directly from the band.

Here's What You Get When You Order The Limited Edition Vinyl Today:

-You'll get the Limited Edition album on classic black 12" vinyl (33rpm).

20 years later this album still holds up, but it's totally a throw-back to a much simpler time.

"The Damnedest Thing has the distinguishable quality of being two decades old, but it never really feels like it."

The Reviews Are In!

Here's What Critics Are Already Saying About "The Damnedest Thing."

"The Damnedest Thing is upon us. After breaking up in 2007, The band opted to reform, and reissue the aforementioned. It’s an interesting story, and has a 25 year history, which The Damnedest Thing serves as something of an allegory for… The Pulls are unapologetically punk…They are unabashedly themselves, but their Songs are meticulously crafted, in a genre that many elitists write off as child’s play… I’m not sure if timeless is the right word, but it does seem as if The Pulls seamlessly blend nostalgia and modernism… This Music is irresistible and fun. You can’t help but picture scenarios in your head… The ride is fast paced, though, and much like life, will pass you by if you don’t give yourself a chance to enjoy it."

Mindy McCall,
IndiePulseMusic.com

"...this trio cranks out some good buzzsaw pop punk. Similar to early BLINK-182, early ATARIS, or even SCREECHING WEASEL without the snotty vocals. Short songs with decent hooks... Solid full-length that deserves more attention this second time around."

Ray Lujan,
MaximumRockNRoll

"The Pulls reissue of 2000’s, The Damnedest Thing, might seem overwhelming at first. Deluge promptly gives way to accommodation though, when you allow yourself to embrace the retro punk purism... Musically, The Pulls show a great deal of competence. The production on the record is certainly adequate... The final product often feels chaotic and supercharged, but you quickly find yourself up for the vibe... Listening to The Damnedest Thing may piss you off at times, but you may just fall in love in the process."

Michael Rand,
MobAngeles.com

"Camouflaged within the fury of their taurine fueled tempos, The Pulls will frequently grab your attention with a strong melodic sensibility. These moments will often catch you off guard, and are quite satisfying. It’s almost as if The Pulls are a Punk Band who listen to Pop Music in the dark, yet have no problem, letting you know…The Damnedest Thing might take a moment to grow on you. It certainly did for me, but the good news is that it happened halfway through the second track. The energy on the record is infectious, and very rarely, relents. The themes are variegated and often gleam with wisdom and maturity… You might just end up taking The Pulls more seriously than you would expect, it’s the Damnedest Thing…"

Mark Druery,
Indieshark.com

"The Pulls 2000 Effort, The Damnedest Thing has been remastered, and reissued. The result is robust, obnoxious, and quite solid…The Pulls tend to pay more attention to detail, than some in their genre. The chord changes aren’t devoid of sophistication, and are deceptively clever. In some cases, the rhythm section never seems to let up, but the band shows dexterity…The two very pivotal years that were 2000 and 2020, represent drastically different eras in history. For an album to surface during two cultural turning points, gives The Damnedest Thing a rare distinction. The Pulls themselves, have an interesting story, one of longevity, abandonment, and ultimately, reemergence. That story has lent itself to a damn good album."
